Microsoft Publisher is a part of Microsoft Office package and is oriented to how document looks, the general layout and different forms of presentation.

Is simplifying the job of authors to create quality documents with a professional look, unlike Microsoft Word that is mostly a text editor with basic layout structure features.

The default file format for these documents is .pub and software is active since 1991.

Can create business cards, brochures, e-mail layouts, calendars, greeting cards or even web sites without high level of technical knowledge. It offers a variety of templates and you can customize each document adding, removing or editing elements (size, color, shape, position and so on).
