Kdenlive is a video editor for Mac and Linux computers and is based on FFmpeg library. This is one of the most popular libraries for video files and this is the reason that Kdenlive supports many file types.

Users can add or insert new audio, video or even image files into their video. Is working with popular audio files such as MP3, AC3; supports high resolution video files (HD), can cut, delete, paste parts from video, add different effects.

Interface includes a video player and a preview area.
