Apache OpenOffice Draw is part of OpenOffice package together with Writer, Calc and other few tools. It allows to create diagrams and charts using different shapes and arrows. Is equivalent with Visio regarding main purpose – to create visual representations of structures or concepts.

Allows to rotate objects in 3D, group and ungroup elements, use different types of connectors to link elements of chart, use images from library or add your own to make document more expressive.

Is able to import image formats and can generate SWF files. Supports third party plugins or extensions.
