TextMate is a popular Mac text editor used by programmers to create or edit code in many programming languages. First time was released in 2004.
It features syntax highlighting, macros for automatic actions, search and replace in an entire project, word completion, supports tabs. Does not include a FTP client, but can be used as default editor by your default FTP software such as FileZilla.
