LibreOffice is a software package similar with Microsoft Office and can be considered a replacement or an equivalent for all major functions. Includes many standalone applications, each application is designed to create different types of documents.

Writer can edit and create “Word” documents where users can format text, layout of page, colors, sizes, insert tables and other shapes.

Calc can create or edit “Excel” document types, work with numbers, use formulas, use charts and other graphs.

Draw can make presentations and offers custom templates. Is similar with PowerPoint and can open and edit these types of files.

Other applications included in LibreOffice are Math (insert and present math complex formulas in documents), Base and Impress.

Is available for all major platforms and can be used completely free.
