SoftMaker Office is a program made by a German company and is intended to be a competitor for Microsoft Office.
This program includes TextMaker that will create and edit Word documents, PlanMaker is similar with Excel and allows to work with numbers and formulas, Presentations is similar with PowerPoint and is designed to create presentations.
SoftMaker Office is free for all major tasks regarding creation of documents, but offers some advanced features for a paid upgrade, such as spell checker, possibility to save to Microsoft Office files (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX), if you are dependent by Microsoft files you will need to pay for upgrade.
