Poderosa is an open source program developed since 2001 and is equivalent with PuTTy being a terminal emulator that allows Telnet, SSH or Cygwin connections.

Users can open multiple connections in the same time and switch between them through tabs. Includes an option to generate SSH private keys, port forwarding and SOCKS connections.

Supports different encoding types for connections (ISO, UTF-8 ..), modern and more secure protocols such as SSH2, allows to customize fonts, play sounds at events, save log files, set custom actions for right click such as “Paste”, set custom keyboard combinations for different actions when you are using terminal (e.g. for copy, paste, close ..), set desired encryption algorithm to be used and more.
