QEMU is a virtualization software that enable to install many versions of an operating system on a single PC or different kind of operating systems on the same computer.

Application name stands from Quick EMUlator and users can install multiple virtual machines on their PC in order to test different applications or run it on Mac, Linux etc. For each virtual computer can enable networking, soundcard, allocate hard drive space and RAM memory, enable video card, USB, bluetooth, basically all features that are available on primary operating system.

QEMU it may be considered a replacement or similar application with VMware and VirtualBox, is an open source tool with programming code available that will help users to create virtualization or emulates new operating system flavors.
