SpaceSniffer analyzes local hard drives and will show in a friendly manner how files and folders are organized. It shows details about each file and folder in a tree view mode. It includes filters to view only specific file types (for example .exe, .avi .. extensions), filter by file size or date.

It does not requires any installation, just run the application.
