Inkscape is a software available for all major operating systems, is similar with Illustrator and offers complete package for creation of vector graphics (SVG).

Was released for the first time in 2003 and now has a large number of users. With Inkskape you can draw any kind of object, use different shapes or create your own, use layers, add text and customize it. It supports grouping and ungrouping layers, your can scale, rotate and move objects as you wish.

Allows to create custom color styles and use them with copy and paste, includes a many backgrounds and patterns, an advanced gradient tool, work with paths and more.

Users can open, save or work with popular file types for vector graphics such as SVG, EPS, but also supports PNG, PDF and other formats.
