SVG-Edit is an online application that allows to open or create graphics using SVG file types. Is made in JavaScript and doesn’t requires any server or software dependencies, can be used also from your local computer in any browser.

You can draw different shapes, lines, ellipses etc., add text and customize it, move or rotate, use layers, use paths; includes a color picker with support for linear and radial gradients.

It has a wireframe mode and you can easily draw mockups for layouts. You can save files as SVG or PNG.

It offers many editing tools, can be used without any installation, is free and can be an ideal replacement for Illustrator or CorelDraw to open and work for basic and medium graphic designs.
