MediaTomb is a streaming media server made for Linux and Mac operating systems and enable to display content (video, audio ..) directly on other devices that are compatible with UPnP protocol.
From devices where your content will be displayed, for example a TV, can browse files and play them. Is like you are controlling PC from TV or another device and view movies, images etc. on TV, but actually all files remains on computer’s hardware.
