TVersity is a media server application that will make content from laptop/computer to be displayed or viewed on another devices such as TV, PSP, PS3, XBOX, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry etc.
Those devices that allows connections from TVersity are named Universal Plug and Play (UPnP). Also, DLNA devices are supported. Basically, almost any smart device such as smartphone, tablet, gaming console, LED/LCD TV and so on.
Instead converting videos to other formats in order to play on Wii, XBOX etc., use a software like this to output laptop content to another device.
Users can browse the internet or view movies using their PC, but displaying content on a bigger TV or on a tablet.
